Build Description
Was using a 7 year old prebuilt that was starting to give me frame rates in the teens playing games like POE. And when I saw games like Elden Ring, I knew I needed to build something new. Hindsight I should have swapped that front case fans for Fractals rgb version. There is also a “empty spot” in the case that is meant for a water pump is that is your thing. But I have plans to put in a small screen there to give me real time thermals on the cpu and gpu and fans speeds.
Favorite Feature
I went for a it’s build because I wanted a pic that was a showcase for my new office. So I choose a Fractal Design Torrent Nano. It was just released and I was building in it before some YouTubers released videos on it. Case is big enough to fit a Noctua NH-D15 and 3 slot GPU. Note: I could only get one of the Noctua fans to fit because of the 24 pin. The case is perfect for people that are wanting to build a small system without having to use riser cables and sfx power supplies. Will say that it was a lot easier to build everything outside the case and then in the case like most builds. Looking at the build, I want to swap that massive 180mm fan for an rgb one from fractal. Much easier to do before installing the MB. I have put this thing though the ringer and it cools down super quick with that Noctua and 180mm front fan. I put a water bottle and 2 pop figures next to is for size comparison.
