Sleeper Gaming PC
by Robert P Posted on: 7/21/2022Build Description
It's mostly just used for watching Youtube, listening to music, and some lighter gaming from bed. Due to the poor ventilation on the case, an oversized cooler, relatively energy efficient components, and a modular power supply were kind of a must. I had some extra parts around after an upgrade and this case (with the old system in it) sitting in the basement collecting dust and figured I'd put them to use. The hard drive pictured is the boot drive for the original system and is not plugged in, it's just there because I was just too lazy to remove it. The optical drive is hooked up and fully functional.
Favorite Feature
The case. Everything important is totally standard (exceptions are the inverted layout and its use of torx screws) and it was pretty easy to build in, aside from the tight fit for the cooler. Overall, it really makes the build a bit more unique.
