Saving E-Waste

A few years back I bought an I5-8400 Nitro 50 and I've always felt the parts needed to be cooler. I saw an old Enermax Chakra box headed to the landfill and snagged it. The old motherboard, Athlon and fan are on my wall. At present I have the ram (Adata DDR4 2666 2X8) motherboard (Acer) and processor (I5-8400) from the Nitro 50 in the Chakra. I had to use aviation snips to cut the solid steel drive cages of the Chakra to make room for the mobo. The 650 GT PSU and RX 6600 Mech are recent additions. All in all it dropped temps on my processor by 10C and when the original GPU was in there it dropped for about 15 C of headroom. I attribute it to the massive space increase and the big 250mm fan on the side of the case.
