Extend and distribute HDMI video signals over a local area network (LAN) with this KanexPro NetworkAV HDMI over IP Extender Transmitter/Receiver Set. Consisting of a transmitter, a receiver, and power supplies for the units, this kit can either extend an HDMI signal by itself or bolster an existing video-over-IP network. Ethernet allows video transmission over longer distances than normally allowed by conventional HDMI cables, up to 394' in this case. Since the video is transmitted over IP, standard networking equipment can be used to distribute video.
