This HDMI over Cat 5e/6 Extender Set from KanexPro sends and receives HDMI 1.4 signals beyond the ability of a standard HDMI cable, extending both video and audio up to 230' over a single Cat 6/5e cable. The set consists of a transmitter and a receiver that can transmit 1080p30 video up to 230' over Cat 6 cable and can transmit 4K30 video up to 131' over Cat 6 cable. If using Cat 5e cable it can transmit 1080p video up to 197' and 4K30 video up to 115'. The transmitter can send signals with up to 10.2 Gb/s bandwidth. In addition to being EDID compliant, the HDMI extender set supports HDCP 1.4 and cascading via an HDMI loop output on the transmitter unit. It passes through audio embedded in the HDMI signal and can support up to PCM7.1, Dolby True HD, and DTS HD formats. The units can also pass through IR signaling using the included IR blaster/receiver cables and the IR input/output ports. Power adapters are included to power each unit.
