Description: This guide will show you how to locate your Windows 10 product key after purchasing a refurbished computer, as well how to activate it in Windows 10.

1. Locate the Windows 10 product key sticker on the computer. On a laptop, this would typically be on the bottom, and on a desktop, it would be on one of the sides of the case. On this sticker, gently scratch off the silver Microsoft portion to reveal the full product key.
   
2. To activate this key, right click on the Start Button and from the list of options choose Settings.
   
3. From the Windows Settings page, select Update & Security.
   
4. Select Activation from the menu on the left side.
   
5. Choose Change Product Key on the Activation window.
   
6. Where it says Enter a Product Key type in the key from the product key sticker - dashes will be entered automatically. Select Next to finish activation.
