How to run a Scan with Malwarebytes

Description: This article will show you how to run a Malwarebytes scan on your computer.

  1. Open Malwarebytes from the Windows Start Menu.

  2. Scroll down the list of programs in alphabetical order and locate Malwarebytes. First open the Malwarebytes folder, then select the Malwarebytes program icon.

  3. From the main Malwarebytes program window, choose Scan.

  4. Select Threat Scan, if necessary, then Start Scan. The window will update, and the scan will begin.
