How to create an Email Signature in Windows
This document will assist in adding signatures to the Email accounts, giving the sender a personal signing of each Email sent or just selective sent items.
To set up your email signature in Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail or Outlook Express:
- Select Menus | Options from the menu in Windows Live Mail.
- In Windows Mail, Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail with the menu bar visible, select Tools | Options... from the menu instead.
- Go to the Signatures tab.
- Click New under Signatures.
- Type the text of your signature under Edit Signature.
- Try to limit your signature to 4-5 lines of text, and possibly use the standard signature delimiter.
- This field is for plain text only, but you can also enrich your signature with HTML formatting.
- Click OK.
