How to transfer files from a Windows PC to Mac with Parallels
Description: This is a guide on how to migrate your files from your Windows PC to MAC running Parallels 8.
- Insert the Parallels Desktop installation DVD into the optical disc drive of your Windows PC.
- If Parallels Transporter Agent doesn't start automatically, navigate through the disc and locate ParallelsTransporterAgent.exe, double click it to launch it.
- Let the installer guide you through the installation.
- Once completed, open Parallels on your Mac then choose: File > New, then click Migrate from a PC.
- You will then be able to choose how you want to transfer your data, then follow the instructions.
