Description: This guide will show you how to securely lock an iOS device with a passcode.

1. From the home screen tap on Settings.
   
2. Once in settings tap on General which can be found on the left.
   
3. Tap Turn Passcode On.
   
4. Enter a 4 digit passcode to use when unlocking the iOS device then re-enter it to confirm accuracy.
   
5. Once that is done every time the iOS device is unlocked there will be a prompt to enter the newly created passcode.
