How to boot to another Hard Drive within Mac OS X El Capitan
Description: This article will show how to boot into other partitions and hard drives from within Mac OS X El Capitan.
- From the Menu Bar, click the Apple icon and select System Preferences.
- Click Startup Disk.
- Click the lock in the lower left hand corner to make changes.
- If asked for a username and password, enter an administrator username and password and then click Unlock.
- Choose the desired boot drive, and then select Restart.
