My printer is not printing on my Windows 10 computer

If your printer will not print in Windows 10, the first thing to do would be to manually clear the print queue and then restart printer services. These steps are outlined below:

  1. Type services.msc into the Cortana search box and then open the Services app
  2. In the Services window select Print Spooler and then stop that service
  3. In Windows File Explorer navigate to c:\windows\system32\spool\printers
  4. Select ALL items in this folder and delete them
  5. Return to the Services window and start the Print Spooler service
  6. Close the open windows and then try again to print
