Microsoft Office programs seem to freeze when they open
There is a repair tool included with the Office software which can be accessed through Programs and Features. Select Microsoft Office in the list of programs and select Change or Modify. Select Online Repair for a full repair of Office. During the repair, Office programs will be unavailable for use.
