How can I make a Windows 10 recovery drive

To do this you will need a 16GB or larger USB flash drive.

  1. Insert the 16gb (or larger) capacity USB flash drive into your computer
  2. Open the Start menu and type in Create a Recovery Drive
  3. Choose the option you are looking for, allowing User Account Control access if requested
  4. When the tool opens, make sure that Back up system file to the recovery drive is selected, then choose Next
  5. Choose Create
When creating the drive, this may take some time to complete - it will inform you when it is complete.
