Windows seems to be installing slowly

There may not be much that can be done about the perception that Windows is taking a long time to install. A typical installation of Windows could take from 15 minutes up to an hour or longer, depending on how it is being installed and what equipment it is being installed to. Windows needs time to create partitions, system files, and complete several initial setup tasks. Installing from a disc to a standard spinning hard drive, for example, will take more time to complete than say installing from a USB 3.0 drive to an SSD system drive, for example. The type and speed of things like the CPU and memory will have a direct impact on the time that it takes to install Windows. Should all of your expectations fall completely outside of these type of reasonable parameters, you may want to contact technical support for assistance with a particular situation that falls completely outside of normal expectations.
