I added a hard drive but my computer does not see it

A drive needs to be partitioned to be used with the computer. For Windows 10, search for Disk Management. In Disk Management, look for a new drive that says Unallocated space. Make sure you are selecting the drive you intend to partition, and NOT your existing system drive. If you select the wrong drive you will instantly delete the contents of that drive. Right click on the drive you are wanting to partition and select New Simple Volume. Follow the prompts to set up the drive to be used with your computer.
