Q: How do I set up the Oculus Quest?
A: Any setup is done through the Oculus app for Android and iPhone. The minimum OS requirements for phones to run the Oculus app are: Apple iOS 10+ and Android 6.0+. With this app you can set up your headset, browse VR games and apps, and customize your device settings.

Q: How do I update the Oculus Quest software?
A: The Oculus Quest headset will update automatically when connected to wifi. Make sure your headset is charged, turned on, and connected to wifi.

Q: Are there different versions of the Oculus Quest?
A: Currently there are two versions: one with 64GB of storage and one with 128GB of storage. The storage is the only difference between the two headsets.

Q: Is the storage upgradeable on the Oculus Quest?
A: There is no way to add more physical storage or add external storage like an SD card to the Quest.

Q: Can you use the Oculus Quest while charging?
A: Yes, the headset can be used while plugged in and charging.

Q: Can you play with the Oculus Quest outdoors?
A: Oculus strongly recommends keeping the headset away from any sunlight as it can damage or ruin the tracking built in to the headset. This also applies when using the Quest indoors and transporting the headset.

Q: Is there a way to change my Quest display orientation without restarting what I have open?
A: Yes, hold down the Oculus button until the circle loops around on the screen. This will recenter and reorient the view.

Q: How do I shut down the Quest instead of just putting it into standby?
A: Hold the power button for 3 to 5 seconds until a menu appears in your headset. Select Shut down from this menu.

Q: How do I check how much drive space is left on my Quest?
A: Select Settings from the bottom toolbar menu and select see all. Go to the device tab and find storage manager to see how much space is left on your Oculus Quest headset.

Q: How do I reboot the Oculus Quest?
A: With the headset on, hold the power button on the top of your headset down until you are prompted with a shutdown screen. Select restart to reboot your Oculus Quest.
