How to reset TCP IP Stack in Windows 10

Description: This article will show you how to reset the TCP/IP stack through Command Prompt on Windows 10. This can be a useful reset to try if you are unable to access your Internet connection.

  1. Right click on the Start button then choose Search.

  2. In the search bar, type in cmd. From the results, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator. Press Yes on the User Account Prompt for the program to be able to make changes to your computer.

  3. Type netsh int ip reset into the Command Prompt window. Press Enter to run the command.

  4. Reboot the PC upon completion.
