Q: Are there different slideshow transitions for viewing pictures?
A: Yes, during the slide show playback, press the Program button on the remote and select one of the listed modes.
Q: Why does the screen look stretched when viewing video/pictures on a TV?
A: The LCD mode may not be set correctly. To change this, press the 'Setup' button on the remote and choose System Setup, then choose 'LCD Mode.' Choose 4:3 or 16:9 according to the TV type.
Q: Does the WinBook Video Boombox have a 'Reset to Defaults' feature?
A: Yes, press the 'Setup' button on the remote and choose System Setup, then choose 'Default' and then 'Restore.'
Q: Why does the screen appear very dim or bright?
A: The display settings may have changed. Change the brightness, contrast, hue, or saturation settings to find comfortable viewing levels. Do this by pressing the 'Setup' button on the remote and then choose 'Video Setup.'
Q: Why does the WinBook Video Boombox not play the sound of people talking when viewing a DVD?
A: The speaker settings may not be set correctly. Press 'Setup' on the remote and choose 'Speaker Setup.' Try changing the 'Downmix' option to 'Stereo.'
