Q: What is the maximum supported system memory (RAM)?

A: The WinBook TL30 supports up to 1.5GB of DDR2-667 memory installable in one 1GB module. The WinBook TL30 has 512MB of memory embedded on the motherboard.

Q: Is there a dial-up/fax modem?

A: Yes, the WinBook TL30 has a dial-up/fax modem.

Q: Does the WinBook TL30 support a video card upgrade?

A: There is no video upgrade available for the WinBook TL30.

Q: Where is the Microsoft Office product key?

A: To obtain the Microsoft Office product key, activate the trial by clicking the 60-day trial icon located on the desktop, or Activation Assistant icon in the Microsoft Office folder found in the Start Menu.

Q: What recovery options are available?

A: A Create-Your-Own recovery DVD and a recovery partition are available. Instructions for using these items are available in the Quick Start Guide. Should the recovery partition or media fail, the store service department can recover the system to original factory settings.

Q: What kind of Anti-virus or Anti-Spyware protection is included?

A: The WinBook TL30 comes with a 90-day trial of the ESET NOD32 anti-virus program. To obtain the username and password for this trial go to www.eset.com/MicroCenter and complete the registration form.

Q: Does the WinBook TL30 support additional drives?

A: There is no support for additional internal hard drives. Use an external hard drive to increase storage space.

Q: What media cards does the Memory Card Reader support?

A: The types of cards supported are Memory Stick(tm), Memory Stick Pro(tm), MultiMediaCard(tm) (MMC),Secure Digital (tm) (SD) Card and xD-Picture Card. The Memory Card Reader does support Secure Digital(tm) High Capacity (SDHC) cards.

Q: Does the WinBook TL30 support more than one monitor?

A: There is an additional VGA connection available for multi-monitor support.

Q: Are any of the pre-installed applications removable?

A: Yes, any software is removable by accessing the Add or Remove Programs control in Windows XP, or Programs and Features control in Windows Vista.
