Q: What media cards does the Memory Card Reader support?

A: The types of cards supported are Memory Stick(tm), MultiMediaCard(tm) (MMC) and Secure Digital (tm) (SD) Card. The Memory Card Reader does not support Secure Digital(tm) High Capacity (SDHC) cards.

Q: What recovery options are available?

A: For Windows XP, a Create-Your-Own recovery DVD and a recovery partition are available. For Windows Vista, a Recovery DVD is included. Instructions for using these items are available in the Quick Start Guide. Should the recovery partition or media fail, the store service department can recover the system to original factory settings.

Q: Does the WinBook TL35 support more than one monitor?

A: There is an additional 15-pin VGA connection available for multi-monitor support.

Q: Are any of the pre-installed applications removable?

A: Yes, any software is removable by accessing the Add or Remove Programs control in Windows XP, or Programs and Features control in Windows Vista.

Q: Is the hard drive upgradeable?

A: Yes, the local Micro Center store can upgrade or replace the hard drive in the WinBook TL35.

Q: What kind of Anti-virus or Anti-Spyware protection is included?

A: The WinBook TL35 comes with a 90-day trial of the ESET NOD32 anti-virus program. To obtain the username and password for this trial go to www.eset.com/MicroCenter and complete the registration form.

Q: Where is the Microsoft Office product key?

A: To obtain the Microsoft Office product key, activate the trial by clicking the 60-day trial icon located on the desktop, or Activation Assistant icon in the Microsoft Office folder found in the Start Menu.

Q: Are any of the pre-installed applications removable?

A: Yes, any software is removable by accessing the Add or Remove Programs control in Windows XP, or Programs and Features control in Windows Vista.

Q: What is the maximum supported system memory (RAM)?

A: The WinBook TL35 supports up to 4 GB of DDR2 533 or DDR2 667 memory installable in two 2GB modules. The system memory is not end user upgradeable; the local MicroCenter store can install more memory in the laptop.

Q: Does the WinBook TL35 support a video card upgrade?

A: There is no video upgrade available for the WinBook TL35.
