How to manually run a Windows Update in Windows XP
- Click Start and select Help and Support.
- Click Keep your computer up-to-date with Windows Update.
- Click the Express button.
- Click the Install Updates button.
- Wait for the updates to complete.
- Click Restart Now to finish installing the updates.
