How to use Disk Cleanup in Windows XP
When a computer is running slow, it may be a good idea to attempt to free up some disk space. This guide will show how to free up disk space in Windows XP using the Disk Cleanup Utility.
- Click Start and select Control Panel.
- Select Category view. The Control Panel may already be in Category view.
- Click the Performance and Maintenance category.
- Select Free up space on your hard disk.
- Select the items to be deleted and click OK.
- Click Yes.
- Close the Control Panel.
