Description: This article describes how to insert a new slide in PowerPoint 2010.

  1. To insert a new slide in PowerPoint 2010, click on the Home tab.
  2. Click the New Slide button in the Slides section.
  3. A box will appear with several slide types that may be chosen from. Click on any slide type to insert it into the presentation. In this example Title and Content has been selected.
  4. The new slide has now been inserted.
