How to create an Email Template in Outlook

Description: This article describes how to make a shortcut for commonly composed emails, create a template.

  1. Open Outlook and create a new email.

  2. Type the body of the email.

  3. When completed, click File > Save as.

  4. Name the file. Once completed, click the Save as type drop down box, and more suggestions will appear. In this list, choose Outlook Template. Then, choose Save.
