How to adjust Page Margins in Microsoft Excel 2010

Description: This article describes how to adjust page margins in Microsoft Excel 2010.

All Excel documents when printed have a border around the edge called a margin. This margin size can be adjusted by the following procedure.

  1. To adjust page margins in Microsoft Excel click on the Page Layout tab.
  2. Then click on the Margins button.
  3. Click on one of the preset margin settings if any of them are appropriate. If not, click on Custom Margin.
  4. If Custom Margin is clicked, a dialog box will be presented. Margins can be set in the Top, Left, Bottom and Right boxes. Click OK when done.
