Description: Google recently introduced Gift Cards to its Google Play catalog. This guide will explain how to redeem a gift card to begin using it to purchase applications, music and books.

1. Tap the App Drawer icon, then locate the Google Play Store app.
   
2. Tap the menu button (3 dots) to open up an expanded menu.
   
3. In this list, tap redeem.
   
4. Type in the code from the back of the Google Play Gift Card, and tap Redeem.
   
5. The balance will update to reflect the gift card.
