How to hide a Windows Update on Windows 7
Description: This is how to turn off a Windows update on Windows 7 that the user does not want downloaded or installed.
- Go to Start and click on Control Panel.
- Choose the option for System and Security.
- Click on the option that says Windows Update.
- Click on one of the links for updates as shown below.
- Right click on the update you want to hide and click Hide Update.
