How to add a Toolbar showing all Desktop Icons to the Taskbar in Windows 7

Description: This article will show you how to add a toolbar that will show all icons on the desktop. This is useful if you have programs open and wish to open a specific program without disturbing any open programs.

  1. Right-click on the Taskbar on the desktop.

  2. Select Desktop from the menu.

  3. There will now be a tool bar button on the taskbar labeled Desktop.
