How to perform a Clean Boot in Windows 7
Description: This article will show you how to do a clean boot of Windows 7 to troubleshoot software problems.
- Go to the Start menu and do a search for msconfig.
- Click the msconfig utility.
- Click on the Services tab.
- Click the check box for Hide all Microsoft services.
- Click Disable all.
- Now click on the Startup tab.
- Click Disable all.
- Click OK.
- Click Restart now.
