How to make an MP3 play as a Notification on Android Jelly Bean OS
Description: This guide shows you how to change your notification sound to an mp3 file.
- Open Apps.
- Tap on My files.
- Choose SD card.
- Choose media.
- Click the soft menu button (bottom left of the screen) and select Create folder.
- Type in Notifications to create a Notifications folder and click OK.
- Go back to My files and find the mp3 file you wish to use, then tap and hold on the file you wish to use and select Copy.
- Go back to the sdcard/media/Notifications folder and select Done.
The MP3 file will now show up as an option for a ringtone for your notifications.
