What is OneNote 2013

Description: Detailing the features of OneNote 2013.

Microsoft Office OneNote 2013 is an all-in-one solution for storing all of your notes in to help keep you organized. OneNote is your digital notebook and is great for storing class notes, recipes, to-lists, sketches, and much more. All notes are saved in the cloud rather than to your computer. As long as you have an internet connection you can access and edit your notes stored in the cloud from a variety of devices such as your computer, smart phone, or tablet. OneNote allows you to share any of your notes with family and friends even if they do not have OneNote.

OneNote allows you to create handwritten notes or sketches by using your finger, a stylus, or mouse on any touch enabled device, such as a tablet. One unique feature included with this is the ability for OneNote to convert any handwriting into actual text for easier reading.

OneNote features Send to OneNote which allows you to save whatever you see on your screen such as a webpage or document to your notebook. It also allows you to write down quick notes that will be saved automatically in your notebook.

OneNote allows you to import any file into your notebook such as Excel Spreadsheets and Visio Diagrams. It stores a copy of the original file directly to the notebook and even allows you to edit them right from within your notebook.

OneNote also offers the ability to create better tables by using improved formatting options such as cell shading, header rows, and data sorting to allow you to display the information however you like.

OneNote comes with all versions of Microsoft Office 2013, so you don't need to worry if the version of Office that you purchase includes OneNote.
