How to change the Theme in Excel 2013

Description: This is an overview showing you how to change the theme in Microsoft Excel 2013.

  1. First, open Excel 2013 on the computer.

  2. Create a new blank Spreadsheet.

  3. Click on Page Layout.

  4. Click on the Themes button to expand the list of available themes.

  5. Chose the desired theme by clicking on it. Note: moving the cursor over the theme will show a preview before clicking on it.
  6. To the right of the Themes button will be Colors, Fonts, and Effects. These will be used to modify the theme to the desired look.

  7. Be sure to save the changes after selecting a theme.
