What are the Different Document Views in Word 2013

Description: This article will explain the different document views in Word 2013.

  1. There are three types of document views in Word 2013, Read Mode, Print Mode, Web Layout.
    • You can find them under the View tab.

    • Or you can find them on the bottom bar (on the right side).

  2. Read Mode - In this view, all of the editing commands are hidden so that your document fills the screen. Arrows appear on the left and right side of the screen so that you can toggle through the pages of your document.

  3. Print Mode - This is the default view where you create and edit your document. There are page breaks in between each page, indicating how your document will look when printed.

  4. Web Layout - This view removes page breaks. It can help you visualize how your document will display as a web page.
