How to close Background Apps on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
Description: When apps are opened they are stored in the background until manually closed or the tablet is turned off. This guide shows you how to close all open applications or switch to a different one to make the tablet run as fast and efficiently as possible.
- The Recent Apps key is highlighted in the picture below. Touch the Recent Apps key.
- To switch to another app, simply Touch the preferred app.
- To close the app, Swipe your finger from the bottom side of the app to the top.
- The app should disappear and is now closed. This can be done for every app that is present to make sure nothing is running on the device.
