How to zip or compress a folder in Windows 8

Description: This article will show you how to zip a folder into a single file. This can be useful when needing to send an e-mail with multiple documents.

  1. Find the folder you want to compress, Right-Click the folder, move your mouse to Send to, and then click Compressed (zipped) folder.

  2. All of the files in the folder have now been copied and compressed into the zip folder.
