How to connect a Bluetooth Device in Mac OS X

Description: This technical article will show how to connect a Bluetooth device in Mac OS X.

  1. Open System preferences from the dock and click on Bluetooth.

  2. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and is discoverable then click on the Plus (+) to add a device.

  3. From Bluetooth Setup Assistant select your device and click Continue.

  4. Enter the pass code shown on Mac screen on your device to complete process.

  5. Note: Most Bluetooth devices do not require a pass code. Please check with device manual if no code is required.
