How to open the Terminal Application on Mac OS X
Description: Directions to find and open the terminal application on a Mac for command input. Sometimes when something isn't working quite right on a Mac OS X computer, commands must be entered into a command line prompt. To do this it is necessary to use the terminal application:
- Open the Finder.
- Select Applications on the left.
- Double-click on the Utilities folder.
- Double-click on the Terminal icon.
- There should now be a terminal window open to enter the needed commands.
