How to enable or disable Location Access on Android 4.4 KitKat

Description: This technical article will show you how to enable or disable location access on devices running Android 4.4 KitKat.

  1. First you will go to the app drawer icon, which is the circle with the 6 dots.

  2. Next select Settings.

  3. Next you will tap on where it says Location, under personal.

  4. Next it will take you to the location screen and show what apps are using your location. At the top of the page you can change the slider off and on to disable and enable the Location Services.
