How to determine Display Information on Windows 8

Description: This technical article will show you how to check your display information in Windows 8 using the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

  1. Press the Windows key and Q key to bring up the Windows Search bar.
  2. On the search bar, type dxdiag.
  3. Click on the DXDIAG icon.

  4. Click on the Display tabs to find information about your displays and graphic cards.
  5. Click Exit once you are done. You have now checked your display information.
