Description: Slide to Shutdown is a new feature to Windows 8.1. Although not implemented by Microsoft the files are still present and easy to set up. This feature is a good fit for touch screen tablets such at the WinBook Tablets.

1. From the desktop app in Windows 8.1 tap on the file explorer folder.
   
2. Tap on the C:\ drive where the Operating system is installed.
   
3. Locate and tap on the Windows folder.
   
4. Locate and tap on the System32 sub folder within the Windows folder.
   
5. Here we want to locate the Slide To Shutdown application file. Note: This file will only be present in Windows 8.1.
   
6. Right click (long touch) the file and select Copy from the menu.
   
7. Go back to the desktop, right click (long touch) and choose Paste Shortcut from the menu.
   
8. There will now be a Slide to Shutdown icon on the desktop. When tapped it will allow you to shut down your computer with a downward sweep of your finger.
