Q: What is causing rolling bands on the display?

A: When they occur, these rolling bands are the result of power frequency. Use the Anti-Flicker setting in the camera properties to change the power frequency setting. 60 Hz is the correct setting for the United States.

Q: What is the Face tracking feature?

A: The Face tracking feature automatically focuses on the face in a photograph and makes it more clear and sharp. Use the Face tracking option in the camera properties to enable this feature.

Q: Does the WinBook WB-6185 Webcam require special software or drivers?

A: Yes, the drivers and Media Impression software are located on the driver disc that comes with the camera. Install the software before connecting the camera to the computer.

Q: Does it matter which USB port the camera plugs into?

A: No, any USB port on the computer will work.

Q: What web chat programs does the WinBook WB-6185 WebCam work with?

A: The WinBook WB-6185 will work in any program that supports Universal Video Class. This includes, but is not limited to, Skype, MSN/Windows Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger.
