Description: This article will show how to enable Cortana in Windows 10. Cortana is the personal assistant feature that is built into Windows 10, providing relevant information based on web searches and items on the computer, such as email and calendar items.

1. Choose the circular Cortana icon at the lower left hand corner of the screen near the Start button. This may also show instead as an Ask me anything search box.
   
   
2. Choose the gear icon to access the settings.
   
3. Toggle the switch below Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts and more to turn on Cortana options.
   
4. Cortana will start to provide general information that may be relevant based on your location. Additional settings can be changed by clicking the notebook.
