Description: This article will show how to turn off viewing the content of text messages from the lock screen. This will make the messages come across as text messages instead of the text’s content.

1. Open the Settings Application.
   
2. Tap Notifications.
   
3. Tap Messages.
   
4. Scroll down to the very bottom and tap the green slider beside Show Previews until it turns gray.
