MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 850 Watt 80 Plus Gold ATX Power Supply
The MSI MPG A850G PCIe5 850W power supply works hard so you can play hard. This fully modular PSU brings your PC 850 watts of reliable power that can handle anything from next-gen graphics cards to overclocked CPUs. With its modular design and 80 PLUS Gold efficiency rating, the MSI MPG A850G is ready to own the playing field on gaming PCs, workstations, and high-powered PCs of all kinds.
Big League Power
Many gamers and power users find that an 850W power supply hits the perfect “sweet spot.” An 850W PSU provides plenty of power for a gaming-ready motherboard, CPU, GPU, and more, while typically arriving at a more affordable price point than enthusiast-level power supplies of 1000W and up. In fact, an 850W will often give you considerable headroom for upgrading components and overclocking.
Golden Efficiency
Power efficiency is another critical factor for a PSU, especially when you’re dealing with high-draw components like graphics cards. The MSI MPG A850G boasts an 80 Plus Gold rating, meaning it’s been tested and certified for at least 90 percent power efficiency at half load — a highly efficient rate that keeps your system cooler and lowers power consumption.
Powerful Connections
A complete selection of fully modular power connectors makes the MSI MPG A850G easy to slot into any system with minimal hassle and maximum flexibility in cable management. Numerous 6+2-pin ports are at your disposal for connecting your GPU — plus a 16-pin 12VHPWR connector that supports state-of-the-art graphics cards up to the PCIe 5.0 standard. Add in a full array of Molex, SATA, and ATX motherboard connectors and you have a power supply with all the options you need to power up.
Performance Promise
Longevity is a high priority for power supplies since many users will keep the same PSU in their PC for 10 years or longer. That’s why MSI backs the MPG 850G with a ten-year limited warranty, so you can game and work in confidence knowing that your power supply is covered.
What is the difference between MSI MPG and MEG power supply?
- MPG and MEG are two of MSI’s product lines, each with features designed for a different user base. The MPG lineup serves a broad base of gamers and power users with high-performance power supplies that also provide great value and sleek looks. The MEG lineup, by contrast, is built for enthusiast PC users who require the most advanced and aesthetically attractive PSUs.
Is it safe to install a higher wattage power supply in my computer?
- Yes, it’s completely safe to use a power supply with more wattage than your components require. Your PSU will automatically regulate its voltage to the correct level for each component.
How do I know what wattage power supply I need?
- You’ll need to calculate the total required wattage for your PC components. Using our PC builder tool makes this easy. Just enter your PC components and then look at the estimated voltage requirements. Again, we recommend purchasing a PSU with some extra voltage headroom to allow for upgrades and overclocking.
Lian Li LANCOOL III RGB Tempered Glass ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case - Black
Unlock a new level of cool with the Lian Li LANCOOL III RGB ATX Mid-Tower Case. This is the highly-ventilated ATX PC case that enthusiasts have been waiting for, with airflow and cooling power built to handle even the hottest-running components. The LANCOOL III keeps its cool in every task, from intensive gaming to video editing — and thanks to its futuristic panel design, it looks crazy good while it’s doing it.
Maximum Airflow
Air circulation is a crucial performance factor for gamers and power users, who often put their GPUs and CPUs under heavy load. Fortunately, the LANCOOL III is designed from the start to be the coolest around, with a spacious mid-tower ATX design that maximizes airflow using vented mesh panels.
A fine mesh front panel lets in plenty of air while minimizing dust, and a honeycomb vented back panel ensures your system always has a breeze flowing through. Even the side panels of the PSU shroud come equipped with vented mesh, for total airflow in every part of the system. Need quick access to your system for cleaning or parts swaps? Hinged tempered glass panels on both sides ensure you won’t have to take your case apart.
You’ll find four high-capacity fans pre-installed in the LANCOOL III front panel, as well as an exhaust fan in the back. With a total of 14 fan bays and three different options for mounting fan hubs, your options for configuring your cooling setup are practically unlimited.
Liquid Performance
Performance PC enthusiasts also love the LANCOOL III for its flexible liquid cooling support. The LANCOOL III’s top and front brackets provide plenty of space for an all-in-one radiator/fan combo up to 420mm, and a four-in-one front fan bracket offers multiple radiator mounting options. Custom cooling enthusiasts, meanwhile, can let their creativity run wild. The LANCOOL III can support up to three separate 360mm radiators.
Visual Excellence
Your PC case is far more than a box for your components, and the Lian Li LANCOOL III RGB is perfect for anybody who wants to make a statement with their case while keeping it effortlessly classy. Three RGB fans mounted on the front panel create ever-changing colorful atmospheres, with the option to add up to three more ARGB devices and sync them to your RGB motherboard controls.
With its new and upgraded cable management solution, the LANCOOL III is also an MVP for any enthusiast looking to improve their PC cable management. Magnetic cable cover doors in the case’s chassis allow you to easily run and conceal your cables any way you want, and included hook and loop straps make bundling cables a cinch (no pun intended).
What’s the difference between Lian Li LANCOOL II Mesh and LANCOOL III?
- The LANCOOL III is an enthusiast-level case optimized for maximum thermal performance with the highest-powered components, while the LANCOOL II Mesh is a popular choice for general gaming and everyday use. You’ll find that the LANCOOL III features larger fans at 140mm, including an additional rear fan, and that the front panel mesh is more fine. In addition, the LANCOOL III is made from aluminum instead of steel, with a uniquely elegant brushed finish.
What size radiator can fit in the LANCOOL III?
- The LANCOOL III is compatible with most AIO liquid coolers, as well as with custom liquid cooling solutions. It can accommodate a radiator up to 420mm long and up to 100mm thick (depending on configuration), and a total of up to three 360mm radiators for custom cooling systems.
Is the LANCOOL III quiet?
- Open cases like the LANCOOL III are almost always louder than closed cases because more sound escapes from inside. However, there are options available for open case users to control PC noise, including using liquid cooling and running higher numbers of fans at a lower RPM.
